Alien Space Whales

The Orcus Galacticus from Treasure Planet (2002), shown above, are alien analogs for whales, similar to Marvel's Acanti, Star Wars' Purrgil, Spelljammer's Kindori or Avatar's Tulkun, The Orcus swim gracefully in a layer of etherium which produces a habitable atmosphere: outer space becomes the oceanic high seas.
