The Appeal of Enclosure

Unlike sci-fi domes, contemporary capsules, domes and pods are smaller, existing within ecologies rather than substituting for them. The pod becomes a niche, a membrane through which we sense the world. As the landscape leaks through, the sound of crickets, a slight wind, even the rumble of a distant vehicle provides a comforting reminder that life continues as usual for miles around.
